The Perdana University School of Occupational Therapy (PUScOT) was established in the year 2013. The School's first programme is Bachelor of Science (Hons) Occupational Therapy commenced in August 2014. The objectives of the School are :

 

  • Ensuring an inclusive education provision in the field of occupational therapy, which include basic science, skills of treatment implementation, information technology as well as research.

  • Ensuring that the occupational therapy students are equipped with the necessary knowledge, soft skills, and clinical experience upon the completion of the programme.

  • Ensuring the dissemination of knowledge and skills of diverse fields of occupational therapy, which include orthopaedics, medical, surgical, paediatric and psychiatry to the students.

  • Ensuring that the curriculum cultivates a sense of safety, creativity, innovation, cultural sensitivity, positivity, competency, and responsibility among the students.
